Your new Tasks list in your Boutique Window will make sure you are staying on track with your online marketing. We’ll prompt you when you need to respond to a comment from a shopper, when it’s time to share to Pinterest or Instagram and we’ll remind you if you haven’t posted a social share or sent an email in a while!
Your Personal Task List
Your new Tasks list appears in the upper right hand corner of your Boutique Window. When you have Tasks to address, you’ll see a blue bubble indicating the number of outstanding tasks. Simply click on the Tasks button to get started.
Using the app on your iPhone or iPad? You’ll notice a brand new Tasks item in the menu at the bottom of your app.
Respond to Shopper Comments
We know it’s easy to lose track of those notifications in Facebook. And, it’s critical to respond to a shopper asap when they have a question or a comment. With new Boutique Window Tasks, you’ll be able to respond directly to a shopper comment right from your Boutique Window account – either from the web or your iPhone/iPad app.
To respond to a shopper on the web, simply type your comment and click Respond. Your comment will be added to the item in your Boutique Window and your shopper will be notified via Facebook that you’ve responded.
To respond from the mobile app, simply click the Respond button. We’ll show you a preview of the item details and any other comments on the item at the bottom so you’ll have context for your response. Type your comment and click the Respond button in the upper right hand corner.
Share to Pinterest and Share to Instagram
You will get a notification about any shares you have scheduled for Pinterest and Instagram. To share to Instagram, simply log in to the Boutique Window app on your iPhone or iPad and click the “Share to Instagram” button. Your image and caption will be pre-populated in your Instagram app, so it’s ready to share!
You can share to Pinterest from either the web app or the Boutique Window iPhone/iPad app. Just click the Pin It button, select your board and your Pin will be ready to be discovered by shoppers!
Note: You will not get a notification about shares to Facebook or Twitter. These will happen automatically at the scheduled time.
Reminders to Share and Email
We want to make sure you are seeing success with your Boutique Window and your online marketing. So, periodically we’ll add a task to send an email or to share to your social accounts if we see you haven’t done so in a while. This friendly reminder will help you get back on track!
