Shoppers love browsing your new arrivals on your website and social profiles, and we want to make sure they know exactly how to buy items they can’t live without. It’s easy with your Boutique Window.
Introducing the How to Buy button
The How to Buy button is located on every item detail page, directly below the comments section. A shopper can simply click the button to get full details on how to purchase the merchandise from your store.
Setting up your How to Buy Preferences
To change your How to Buy settings, navigate to Settings -> How to Buy. You can select as many of the options as you’d like. If you choose to uncheck all three options, the How to Buy button will not appear on your item detail pages.
Visit Us In Store
This option is available if you have indicated that you have a storefront. The text shown to shoppers is automatically generated based on the store location and store hours you provide. We’ll include your store contact phone number and email address as well.
Use this option to let long distance customers know that you’re willing to ship merchandise. Consider including information about shipping costs and your return policy.
Use this space to indicate an additional method for your shoppers to purchase items from your store. Here a few ideas and examples we have seen from other stores.
Do you use Paypal to handle online orders? Request that shoppers leave a comment on the item with their PayPal email address so you can easily invoice them.
Do you accept requests from shoppers to place items on hold? Tell shoppers to leave a comment requesting to place the item on hold and be sure to let them know how long you’ll hold it for!
Want to encourage customers (and friends and family of customers) to buy gift cards from your store? Give them details on how to contact you to purchase a gift card.
Do you offer custom orders or personalization options? Explain the details on how it works.
