We provide free one-on-one training sessions because we want to make sure you are set up for success with your Boutique Window. One of the most common questions we hear is “How are my shoppers going to find out they can browse all of my merchandise online?” Here are a few simple tips to make sure your shoppers know about your Boutique Window.
Call out the link to your Boutique Window
When you share from your Boutique Window, train your shoppers to get additional item details and to continue browsing your merchandise by encouraging them to click on the link in the caption. Do this for the first few weeks so shoppers get used to browsing online. Consider including things like:
- Click the link below to get additional details and see more photos of this item!
- Make sure to click the link below to see more great merchandise in store now!
- Be sure to click the link below to browse more items in the Fall Favorites collection.
Share from your Boutique Window often
The more you share from your Boutique Window, the more successful you will be with your online marketing. We encourage you to share at least once per day. If you’re in an industry where you’re getting new shipments of merchandise multiple times per week, consider sharing 2-3 times per day. Shoppers will start to learn they can return to your website to see your new arrivals.
Tell your Customers In Store
Include the URL to your Facebook page, your website or your Boutique Window on a counter sign or a card that’s included in shopping bags. You can also let shoppers know verbally at check out.
Include a link to your Boutique Window when you email your shoppers
Dedicate a section of emails to your shoppers to let them know to preview merchandise online before they plan their trip into the store.
Use a Bold In Store Tab Graphic
Make sure your In Store tab icon stands out on your Facebook page. Choose a bold design to draw your shoppers’ eye. You can make your own or use one of our new Free In Store App Icons. Here are a few we recommend. But, check out more here and here.
