The photos of your merchandise should highlight the style of your store, but finding the right spot to photograph your items can be a challenge. Here are a few easy tips that will help you add interest to your photos.
An Empty Frame
Placing an empty frame behind items you’re photographing on a table can add style and charm to any wall.
Nice Hangers
Set your plastic hangers to the side and use nice wooden hangers or vintage hangers with character to photograph items you can’t put on a mannequin.
Vintage Books
Use vintage books as a platform for smaller items like accessories, small decor and shoes.
Step Outside
If you’re having trouble finding a place to take photos inside your store, or just want to mix it up a bit, try photographing your items outside. Just make sure the background isn’t too busy and any landscaping in your photograph is neat and tidy.
