Using high quality images on Facebook is key to maximizing engagement with your fans. Boutique Window has already made it simple to build and share photo collages of your merchandise. Today, we are announcing a brand-new way to engage your shoppers online. Now, you can create, schedule and share albums on Facebook, right from your Boutique Window command center.
How to Create & Schedule Your Facebook Album
When you log in to your Boutique WIndow, you’ll notice a brand new Share Facebook Album button on the right side of your Everything and Collection pages. Simply click this button to get started.
Choose the items you’d like to include in your album, then click next.
Next, choose your album options and add an album title and caption.
- Include all images for each item: when this box is checked, we’ll include all of the images you have added for each item in your album. If you uncheck this box, we’ll only include the primary image for each item.
- Include item details: when this box is checked, we’ll automatically add each item’s title, description, price, sale price and link in your album.
Lastly, choose to share your album now or schedule it in the future!
Sharing a Facebook Album Versus Photo Collage
When should you share as a Facebook album and when should you share as a photo collage? The right answer is whatever works best for you! You should experiment with different types of posts to see what gets you the most engagement on your Facebook page. Albums are great for “Facebook engagement points” because there are more opportunities for your shoppers to interact. Each click on a separate photo in your album will count torward your engagement, prompting Facebook to share your Facebook album with more of your fans.
We recommend that you get the most mileage out of the photos of your merchandise by using them multiple times on your Facebook page in different ways. Consider scheduling 1-2 albums per week that feature your in store merchandise and then use the photo collage builder to feature that merchandise in other unique ways throughout the rest of the week. For example, you could showcase a featured item of the day, build an outfit or gift guide that features that item or host a “this or that” promotion that asks shoppers which item they prefer for a chance to win a gift card to your store.
